Introducing your 2018 Carnival Royalty…

Introducing your 2018 Carnival Royalty…

At a Crowning Ceremony held in the Town Hall on 8th June, Bridgnorth welcomed its newest members of the Carnival Royalty family for 2018.

There were many entries and the Judges had an incredibly difficult time in choosing just one winner in each category. Each and every entrant would have made a worthy candidate and highlighted how much talent our lovely town has.

Here are our lovely winners….

Each member of our Royalty has been kindly given a prize by some of our wonderful local businesses.

Our Carnival Queen will receive hair and makeup from Wow Hair and Beauty Bridgnorth and customisation of a dress from My little Wedding Shop. Our Princes will receive hair styling from Bull and Co Barbershop in Central Court, and our Princesses will receive hair and makeup from Salon Blue in Central Court. On Carnival Day, buttonholes and posies have kindly been provided by Inspired by chelsea.

You can see them riding pride of place on a Vintage Lorry, donated by TG Builders Merchants from 1.30pm as the procession leaves Nock Deighton Livestock and Auction Centre, and through town to Severn Park.
