St. George’s Day Market & Parade – 23rd April 2016

St. George’s Day Market & Parade – 23rd April 2016

Following the success of last year’s event, Bridgnorth Town Events is pleased to announce that St. George’s Day will be celebrated once again and this year, on St. George’s Day!

The procession will be commencing at 12 noon from Crown Meadow, Victoria Road, through town and into the Castle Grounds. Everyone is welcome to join in and we ask that any participants who drive to Crown Meadow refrain from parking in this area due to the procession route and residents who also park in this area. There will be a rolling road closure in place and we ask for your patience from 12 noon to ensure the safety of those in the procession. Fancy dress is welcome!

Once in the Castle Grounds, expect English delights from stall holders, local businesses and community groups. Entertainment will be taking place in the Bandstand during the afternoon together with a circus skills workshop, bouncy castle and face painting.

Booking forms are now available for stalls selling English produce, performers and caterers and can be found on the links below.

In the evening, Bridgnorth Choral Society will be rounding off events with a St. George’s Day Concert in the Baptist Church. Further information can be found below.
