Bridgnorth Town Carnival – Application Forms Now Available!

Application forms to be a part of Bridgnorth’s biggest one day free community event are now available!

This year, the Carnival is taking place on Saturday 24th June from 12 noon, starting with our procession which will arrive on Severn Park, Bridgnorth from 1.45pm.

Procession Entry

If you would like to enter into our procession with a float, walking entry or show vehicle, please click here.

Entry into the procession is free and guidance can be found on the above form. We welcome entries from groups, organisations, businesses, groups of friends, schools, youth groups and individuals! Your entry can be as simple or as creative as you like and it is a great way to fundraise or promote yourselves.

Performers

If you would like to perform in the arena or on stage at the event, please click here

On the day, we will have family entertainment in the arena and on stage, followed by live music until 10pm. We welcome applications from any talented members of our community to perform alongside our scheduledĀ arena events.

This is a great way to showcase your talents, recruit members to your group or promote yourselves on one of Bridgnorth’s biggest stages.

Sponsorship

Bridgnorth Town Carnival relies on the support of our community to provide this free event for the town and its visitors. There are many sponsorship opportunities, big and small, from the provision of first aid to supplying our volunteers with high viz jackets on the day!

Sponsors will feature on any advertising material we use together with a free pitch on Severn Park to continue to promote your business or organisation.

Volunteers

Without the help of our fantastic volunteers, we would not be able to provide you with our fantastic Carnival! If you have an hour or more to spare on Carnival Day, please contact the Town Council. Opportunities range from setting up the Carnival field, marshaling road closures, assisting visitors on the Carnival field, helping our performers on and off stage to litter picking. Hours range from 8am right through to the end of the event, and we are grateful for any offers of assistance no matter how big or small.

Volunteering can support University Applications, Duke of Edinburgh Awards and looks great on a CV so please get in touch on events@bridgnorthtowncouncil.gov.uk if you would like to be involved.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and gives you front row seats to our event!
